DARK Pro Base Clear

DARK PRO BASE CLEAR is a transparent, slightly acidic base (pH 6.5) with a medium consistency, designed to make it easy to level the nail plate. It does not cause a strong burning sensation under the lamp.

Usage:

• Perform a manicure, buff the nail, degrease it, and apply the dehydrator and Ultrabond

• Before applying PRO BASE CLEAR, apply a thin layer of clear SCOTCH BASE (or another medium-acid base) to ensure better adhesion. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds and remove the tack layer.

• Important: A moderately acidic base should only be applied in a thin layer; do not use it for leveling.

• Apply a leveling coat of DARK PRO BASE CLEAR. The coat thickness should not exceed 0.7 mm.

• Cure for 60–90 seconds in an original DARK brand lamp

• Apply your chosen top coat and cure it for 90–120 seconds

Recommendation: Always use genuine DARK brand bulbs with all DARK products.

Tips for Use:

• We do not recommend using bases on long, very thin nails or for a strong square shape with sharp corners. For such nails, we recommend using hard materials instead.

• If a client comes in with nails that need to be trimmed, we recommend doing so (by 1 mm) after applying the top coat. This makes the free edge slightly thicker and improves the durability of the coating.
