Areas of application: In accordance with the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR): For surface disinfection and cleaning of all types of surfaces. According to the EU Medical Devices Regulation: Disinfection and cleaning of non-invasive alcohol-sensitive medical devices.
Application Surface wipe disinfection: Completely wet the surface to be disinfected with a sufficient amount of the freshly prepared working solution, spread it mechanically and allow it to dry (scrub-wipe disinfection). In routine use, the disinfected surfaces can be used again immediately after drying. Medical devices that come into contact with the body during normal use should be rinsed under running water of suitable quality for 15 seconds after the exposure time has elapsed.
Spectrum of activity and contact times: Recommended use for surface disinfection bactericidal, levurocidal: 7.5 % (75 g/L) – 5 min, 1 % (10 g/L) – 30 min; limited virucidal: 2.5 % (25 g/L) – 5 min, 1 % (10 g/L) – 60 min; additional test results: effective against polyoma viruses: 7.5 % (75 g/L) – 2 min, 2 % (20 g/L) – 30 min.
Composition: 100 g solution contains: 3.33 g didecyldimethylammonium chloride; 6.66 g alkyl(C12-16)dimethylbenzylammonium chloride. Contains non-ionic surfactants < 5 %.
Material compatibility: Application is not recommended for the following materials: Copper, brass, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polycarbonates (PC).
